Emily: It's so scary, the MySpace and Facebook and AIM, and all that. I'm just really not into that. If you want to have a friendship, see them face-to-face, you know? That's the best kind of friendship.

Emily: (about Miley Cyrus) We have a lot of fun together. We do a lot of regular girly things. I think people can tell that we're good friends when they watch the show. We're so comfortable with each other now, it's crazy. It's like we can finish each other's sentences!

Emily: What's hard is being in the limelight constantly. It means that you always have to do everything right. But having young girls look up to me is important. Emily: I really am a normal girl, and I love it. I have regular friends, I have school like everyone else, and I have a regular family. I just have a really cool day job, and the celebrity thing is just part of the job. I try to leave that at work so I can still be that normal girl. The most important thing about what I'm doing is making people smile, and seeing their reactions.

Emily: (about her friends) I get along better with guys. Girls focus too much on things that don't matter. I don't want to be worrying about who's dating who.

Emily: Acting is just my job. I don't go home and keep being [my "Hannah Montana" character] Lilly. I know how to step away from it, be with my family, and just be a kid.

Emily: (on her Hannah Montana co-stars) Miley is the most energetic. Jason is the most professional. Mitchel is the fashion slave. Cody is the guest actor that we want to keep bringing back.

Emily: As a actress who's still in school, my schedule is usually jam-packed. There's a lot of things I'm going to be missing out on by choosing to be part of Hannah Montana, like dating. But on the other hand, I know there's a lot of experiences I'm going to be having that nobody else is going to have except me! Life is really good right now. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Emily: (Her biggest passion: acting or music) When it comes to singing and acting, I don’t think I could choose. I have been acting for a much longer time, but singing is something I love to do. It was a hobby that turned into a job. I definitely want to pursue it more. But right now, I am focused on acting.

Emily: (Why she chose to do R.L. Stein’s The Haunting Hour: Don’t Think About It) I chose this movie because it is sort of like a kid’s horror movie and I have never done anything like that before. It was such an opposite character to play from the one I play on Hannah Montana.

Emily: Mitchel is a great bud to a girl.

Emily: I've been playing soccer for a very long time.

Robert Rodriguez: (About Spy Kids) I really wanted to bring back Emily Osment with the propeller hair.

Miley: Emily is basically an 85-year-old lady at heart. She not only knits but keeps us all together like a mom.

Emily: (on looking like her brother) Sometimes when we were little, people were like, "Who's who?" When we were little we looked a lot alike; we still do. I love it.

Emily: Boys are the biggest issue for me right now. They complicate things.

Emily: I think I'm sort of a tomboy girl here, but so is Lilly.

Emily: I'm a soccer fanatic, so I'm very competitive. I'm always ready to play and I'm always asking, 'Why isn't everyone ready to play?'

Emily: I'm not too into the pop stars.

Emily: I thought The Sixth Sense was actually sadder than it was scary.

Emily: (on why she loves old movies) Back then, it was a lot simpler and the acting was just so amazing. I like the black and white movies. There's just something about them that attracts me. They're slow, romantic.

Emily: (About the show Hannah Montana) If we don't connect to each other, then this show wouldn't last. We're friends on and off the set.

Emily: It's better if you just base your character exactly how you see it and not base it on anyone else.

Emily: I remember driving home from school the day I got the part. I screamed for 10 minutes. I knew the show would go far but not this far.

Emily: [About her character in Hannah Montana] Lilly is just totally wild; she's different.

Emily: (when asked about her favorite actors/actresses) I love Audrey Hepburn. I thought she was very classy. I like Breakfast at Tiffany's and a lot of her movies. Some actresses, I don't mean to be rude or anything, but they don't have the class. It's not good for stardom to go to your head.

Emily: (when asked about her interests and aspirations) I like soccer and writing stories. I want to become a writer and continue acting.

Emily: (on keeping secrets) I'm not so great at keeping secrets, maybe that's why no one ever tells me things.

Emily: (about her brother, Haley Joel Osment) I'm trying to follow in my brother's footsteps, because I know he's really talented. I'm just trying to be like him I think.

Emily: (on the help her brother gives her) My brother gives me lots of tips. He tells me, 'Look them in the eye! Don't daydream!' It really helps me a lot.

Emily: (on her brother's hit movie) Seriously, I did not want to see The Sixth Sense. I knew I would have nightmares. And my parents agreed with me, too. I'm just too young. I haven't seen it yet. I still think it's scary. I don't like scary movies.

Emily: (on her character Gerti in Spy Kids 2) She acts like a grown-up and she knows a lot, but inside her, she's a little girl. She thinks she's the boss of everyone.

Emily: (on her biggest Spy Kids 2 stunt) Hanging off a cliff. My stunt girl was even younger than I am. There were sharp rocks and I was in a harness. I've rock climbed before and been in a harness, plus the crew teaches you how to stay safe. That scene took like half a day.

Miley: (regarding her friendship with Emily) We always hang out between scenes -- we dance or watch TV. We're barely ever apart!

Emily: If I had to spend $10 at my favorite fast food joint, I'd order a Double Double from In and Out.

Emily: (about being a snowboarding fanatic) I can do the halfpipe and land some small jumps.
